My freeholders have written a letter to my morgagage lender saying the flat is not maintained and they should take ove rthe ownership of it.i have only had the flat 15 months its in a very good condition.

what it is he has a cellor below my flat - he wants tochange to a flat and now he told me that my bathroom water has leaked into it and damaged it he wants me to pay 2k -- i dont have it he said he will take me to court.

the insurance company cam e and checked it they said its a long term damage not caused by me although a contributory factor.

please tell me what to do i have all my money invested in to the flat.
freeholder keeps charges me 700 every 6 months for maintance i keep paying !!!!

First do not worry, but go and see a solicitor as soon as possiable, also stop paying the 700.

Someone is seriously winding you up, you need to get yourself a solicitor quickly
I suspect it is not a wind-up, but an attempt to try and force you out of the property. They are probably trying to do this because they realise they can make more money by redeveloping the cellar and can't because you are in the way.
In the first instance suggest talking to CAB on the grounds that it is cheaper, but at the end of the day you may need proper professional legal assistance.
The 700 is presumably for the ground rent and maintenance of external parts of the property. This sound like a shed-load of money every 6 months, but I could be in London I suppose. The quality of internal maintenance, provided you take reasonable steps to avoid water leaks (as your insurer's report appears to state) is your business.

Thank you all for the answers - I have paid him 500 today i was worried. I refuse to pay him site visits at a cost of 50 this was never mentioned and I need access to building from him to bring my builders in . he is bullying me i cant afford a solictor. I am fighting this on my own.

he did write to my morgage poeple. saying my flat is not maintained do you think they will come and investigate cuz thats what they should do. my flat is clean and wekk kept. i have paid all my bills my account is up to date.

why do poeple do this to you. I guess being a woman on her own is a easy catch hey.
Have you rung your mortgage provider & spoken to them about this issue? I think you'll find they don't care what happens to the property unless you stop paying the mortgage.

Speak to the CAB as buildersmate advises but you need to find a way to afford a solicitor - if you don't fight back, they won't back off, either that or ask them to make an offer.
