No-one deserves to receive those types of messages for leaving a political party but I couldn't see anything in your link suggesting they were sent by folk claiming to be members of or supporters of the SNP.

She has her god and the Free Church to protect her, she'll be fine.

Woad-faced knobs seldom stray far from their pubs and then only to wave a flag until they run out of puff.

She is (was) an MP for the SNP for East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow.  If she stands down should there not be a by-election?  The people voted for SNP and not Conservative.

13:04 Morally perhaps maggie but they are not the rules. Remember when the Tory wets were defecting to Tory Lite in the late 90s? No one was moaning then. This is apostatic nastiness from the Blue woaders.

Where is the evidence the e-mails are from SNP supporters?

A distasteful collection of trough feeding, self serving, verbally distorting pole climbers. Avoid.

//Where is the evidence the e-mails are from SNP supporters?//

Who do you think they might be from Corby?

They could be from anyone taking pleasure in sending abusive e-mails to folk in the headlines.

It is not unusual for people crossing benches in the House of Commons to receive abusive messages.
I have seen a lot of comments from ABers when this has happened in the past.

No evidence it has come from the SNP and more probably from some of the 26,000 who voted for a nationalist candidate and find themselves being represented by a Unionist Party in parliament.

Obviously she should have resigned and triggered a by election. But has no honour and will pocket her MOs pay until the next election.

Contemptible!

@21.45."who voted for a nationalist candidate".I thought you once told me that the SNP were socialists,Gromit. So you now agree with me that the SNP are a nationalist party?
