I'm thinking of building my own c.d racking system, as the shop bought ones are unsuitable. Does any one know where I can buy the metal or plastic inserts that the cd's sit on? I have googled it, but to no avail.

Why not visit a cheapo discount store and get some of those plastic CD racks, then build them into your racking system in the style of your choice?

My local Wilkinson's sells the plastic shelve holder inserts, a pack of 20 for 99 pence (availble in white, beige or black).
