What is your house like? Does anyone live in a massive victorian detatched house anymore?! Or do we all live in a small portion of a detatched victorian house, since all these great houses are being converted into flats.
Is it true that since there are more single people than ever before, we now all live in insular ways rather than an extended family all under one roof?
So- what's your house like?

My flat is on the top floor of a beautiful Victorian converted house. It's such a shame these days as many Victorian houses with stunning period features are being knocked down by Developers, so ugly concrete monstrosities can be built in their place.

It's only a matter of time before all period houses are demolished and we all end up living in tiny shoe boxes on top of each other. It's unfortunate, there is no longer enough room or money in many parts of this country for people to have the space they need.

The house I now live in, with my parter is a 1930's three bedroom semi detached property. It's quite narrow and smaller than we would ideally like, but I guess it does it's job and has a reasonable sized garden, so I shouldn't complain really.
All I can tell you, is that I live in a beautiful old house Scarlett, but whatever the size of someone's home, it's the atmosphere inside it which makes it. x
I live in an Edwardian terraced house, but some friend of ours bought a huge Victorian semi which had been converted into flats and they are converting it back into a family house. It is going to be beautiful when they have finished it.
