I have a polytunnel which is torn. I also have a roll of plastic sheeting, Don't know what guage but it is fairly thick. my problem is what adhesive do I require for joining the plastic? thanks in advance.

You can also buy a very tough type of transparent tape which looks rather like "sellotape", about two inches wide which I'm sure can be used on plastic sheeting. We have used it to repair broken see-through plastic salad trays in our fridge and also to repair damaged polythene cloches which have been left on the vegetable patch all winter so it will withstand low temperatures. Probably available from B & Q or any good DIY store (or possibly even WH Smith).
