Living seat

I quite like the idea of a living seat a friend of mine suggested some sort of clump forming herb any ideas what type of herb would survive with being sat on?

There are various low growing thymes that would also be suitable.Try looking here http://www.herbfarm.co.uk/frames.html You could also try Cosican mint, a creeping perennial, with tiny aromatic leaves and small purple flowers. Height to 1cm (0.5").
