I am back in Blighty and I have just looked out of the patio windows. There is a lovely clear sky and there is not a leaf moving on the big Plane tree beyond the end of the garden. It's a lovely night. What is it like where you are?

blue sky, a few grey clouds but not ominous, slightly on the cool side tho

A tad cloudy so I doubt I'm going to be see much of the Perseids meteor shower tonight.

On the up side it does mean an early night, hopefully involving some sleep which seems to have escaped me the past few days.

There,s hardly a breeze here ,nice settled evening .a penguin has meandered by the side gate gently sighing and whispering .Where am I .

Not to bad here, still cloudy though and there must be some breeze because I can see leaves moving on the trees on the common.

I didn' realise it's a Perseids night tonight. I doubt I will last that long

No point looking up here (SW London). I remember my Dad and I looking at them in the garden of our house in Devon. It was usually around 22nd August. There was no light there and we saw 22 in 5 minutes.

Lavender oil is good for making you feel a bit sleepy.

It's crystal clear and not a breath of wind. Perseids best from dark until about 11pm when the moon comes up.

Eccles, when I find sleep difficult to come by, I switch on the radio and as soon as an interesting item comes on, I nod off. Waken 10 mins later to discover I'd missed the darned thing!
Annoying to say the least.
Whatever is bothering you about sleep, I do hope it can and does get sorted xx
