Keep a fridge smelling fresh ? Apart from those commercial things ? I have a relatively new fridge and clean it regularily, but sometimes some food Mr. Sam puts in there, his sauces and so on, do pong a bit. Yesterday I took everything out, could'nt really find the culprit, but chucked a few things out anyway and gave it a good wash, but there is still a faint smell .

a small container of bicarbonate of soda..open.. will absorb odours
Try cutting a lemon in half (squeeze it if you like) then pour some salt into the halves and place them in the fridge, to absorb the nasty niff.
lock and lock boxes for pongy sauces etcetera. A pong without source could be the drain tube blocked. needs poking out with something fine.

Thanks guys . Shall try the bicarbonate and the lemon. I don't think it's a drains smell
Have you tried leaving the door open for fresh air ?
store "smelly "stuff in Tupperware. easy
Don't store anything smelly in polythene containers at all! Believe it or not, polythene is slightly porous and the odour molecules escape.
Oh, and the container is permanently tainted, too.
never had that problem ginge if you stand them in bicarb for a while after you have done with the "smelly stuff" and believe or not that's what they were really developed for
