You can change only one. Personally I would have a bigger garden. I spend every walking hour out there when its summer and to have it a lot bigger would be fantastic.Plus I would have room for a shed! ( to lock hubbie in! -joke!)

Def Garden... live in a flat now and miss the garden so much
be careful what you wish for... we have a big garden (100ft) and it takes a lot of work to keep in order. I wouldn't mind an extra room in the house.
Garden- but with a gardener too. I love gardens, just not so much into having to actually work at it to keep it looking nice.
<<<will hire jno:P
We went from a 2 bed house with a very large garden to a 2 bed house with bigger rooms and more manageable garden. Back garden is much more private too.

Smow, hope the shed will be big enough for Mr Alba to visit now and again :-)

Bigger garden.

Well, I mean ... bigger balcony.

There are one or two penthouses along the front with HUUUUUGE roof terraces.

Hi Anne, well thats another story but I am just fine. Mr smo has been just fine since the other night. Have decided not to say a word till it starts up again then god I will let him have it! Am not going to stand for it any more! : )
Bigger garden with a massive shed for Mr Frog to keep his fishing gear and home brew stuff in. Bigger house = more housework. Not good.
As we already have a huge garden we would like a bigger house so the hounds can have more room to roam when indoors.
For me it would have to be a vast outside space if I had to choose. I'm always careful when buying anywhere for myself that it's got plenty of room, I can't stand near neighbours or being overlooked.
Randomly I'd be happy with smaller both at the moment. Just me and the cats and I only have a little house and garden but it's a lot of work with the arthritis so smaller would suit me so long as the cats had somewhere good and safe to roam around outside. If I didn't have the cats I'd probably go for a smaller flat with openplan kitchen/living room.
Neither.

Now I getting older and more and more arthritic I would rather like a smaller house and a smaller garden. My garden is 1/2 acre.

If I was really fit. I would like a smaller house and a bigger garden. The garden to me is more important than the house. I like my privacy and I like views.
Hey jno....build a huge extension onto your big garden....perfect solution!

.....guys with small gardens and huge houses ....just do the opposite...pull down some of your house to get a bigger garden ;-)
deffo garden, I would like securely fenced wild acres for the dogs to run in.
Yeah, if you go for the garden you have the option to extend the house.
