They are sending him home as soon as support and a special bed can be arranged. There is no chance he can heal and the infection isn't resolving. He wants me to stay overnight with him. He is fully aware of what is happening and just wants to be home with me. I will post again when I know more

As an ABer, I can't say I know you personally Rowan or your beloved Redman, but i have watched ye over the years get together and the preparations for the wedding were great, I rem you sharing us a glimpse of the cake, the colour of your dress etc., so as I still follow on and missed you over a while, I am sorry to see Redman is at end stages of life support, I hope he will be home with you before long and that his final days will be painfree, peaceful and you will be free to give him all the support he needs - sometimes stifled in hospital environs, I am very sorry but happy for both of you to have found one another when ye did. xx
