Almost everyone stated that they would not soley wish to win that much money - myself included .

However sharing it between 16 people in our syndicate is quite ok .

Not long after the Lottery started there was a draw for about £18,000,000. At the time I was off work with Depression. I remember wandering around the park in the dark (with the dog) crying at the thought of winning all that money - the thought of having it terrified me.

Years down the line - I have a few tickets on for tonight and I am sure that, should I win, my money-grabbing brother would 'help' me spend it.

He also said that he would 'take care of' my cats when I die.

I never normally buy lottery tickets but have just bought some lucky dips online.

i don't really get how it seems that so often the jackpot is won by one ticket. That never seems to happen the bog standard lottery

There have been 2 eurolotteries a week for a while now. The times the jackpot is shared it doesn't make headlines. The same if it's won by someone in a foreign country. BUt when the winner of a £100 million or more is from here we tend to remember that.
