I have started to paint the outside of the wooden windows of my house and have completed the first window in gloss paint and I find that the sun shows up any uneven areas. Can I use santinwood paint on the outside? I seem to recall that I used satinwood paint the last time which was about five years ago.
Thanks for any advice

Hi Cockney Guy,

Yes you can use a satinwood.

I too wasn't keen the gloss finish when decorating recently and used this exterior satinwood paint (link below) myself:

Very pleased with the result.

Thank you Toneless for your very welcome reply. However, I have now painted the windows using satinwood bought from Homebase and think it's not as good as Dulux. It looks fine but only wish I could have found Dulux as I trust the quality of their products. Maybe I'm unusual but I really like wooden windows, I am possibly the only person in my street that still have them. Oh well, maybe another paint up next year. Thank you again
Regards C.G.
