We have water going down the back of the sink and it's running down the wall behind into the cupboard below .This is very complicated :)
The sink is only a gap of about an inch and half from the tiled splashback and has been set into a beechwood worktop .Over time this has started to go all grotty ,the grout is all nasty and any water that gets spashed around is running down the back of it and under the lip of the sink into the cupboard .
This usually only happens when Mr S is doing any washing up .I've tested it with a glass of water :)
My son is going to fit a new sink and worktop for us ....but ..
he's full of good intentions but we may have to wait a while ....

Morning all I'm still in bed with a cuppa catching up with your posts and drowning my sorrows! Yep I did hear Shaney. Lol.
I hope Neti is enjoying herself and she had a few bets. That adds to the fun! I loved it the day I went but once was enough. I couldn't afford it again anyhow!
Back gardening today then maybe I'll clean my car. I'm in a shall I be lazy day.

we have been invited to a softball/BBQ afternoon tomorrow, with nobody actually having to play the softball if they don't want to, so it's really just a picnic with opportunities for exercise. The hosts are very stressed at the moment, they have just had a baby and it has only one ear. They think the other one is probably there but inside, but the baby is too young to go investigating. Plus the father has been chosen as an MP candidate and his employers want him to leave his job now rather than wait for the election. I'm not sure I would be hosting picnics under such circumstances; very brave of them.
jno jnr had a phone interview for a job and it went well; so that will cheer him up when he goes on holiday tomorrow, though he will have to have a face-to-face one when he gets back. At least it will boost his self-confidence a bit.

Morning all...sunny/cloudy/muggy. Had a poor night... I could do with some softballs to lob at that bloody cockerel, non stop crowing from 4.30am, grrr. I'm a fair distance away, I dread to think what it's like for the closer neighbours.
So sorry for the little baby jno, looks like he/she has some tough times ahead...as if life isn't tough enough. Yes, some people do seem to set themselves up for a lot of unnecessary stress, hope it's a good afternoon for all concerned. Good luck to jno jnr, he'll be ok.

Bit of sunshine atm .Hope it stays bright as the last couple of days have been very dreary here and I'm hoping to trudge out to town .I have to wait for my face to settle down first though .
That's very sad Jno .I hope they can do something for the little baby .Must be distressing for them .
I hope Jnr Jno will be succesful with his interviews.
Lol Jude ..what a dismal performance .Rooney got a lucky goal there but Suarez played a blinder.
You see I do know what's going on .Something must have sunk in from years of brainwashing by my menfolk and standing about in the cold at the school matches !

Here I am having spent the night in sister's new flat in Rottingdean. I did not win a damned thind, stupid betting, if I ever meet Frankie Dettori I will take my hand off his face! Some of the outfits were wonderful, some of the people were not! One girl was so drunk (at those prices???)the medics had to wheel her out in a wheelchair. Wore a big hat in the end will post piccies when I learn how!

Hope you had a good time at Ascot .I used to go to the races here in Yarmouth years ago because I got free tickets courtesy of the police and I've been to the Derby and Goodwood .Never won much though .It's a good day out .
It got out lovely and I trudged into town ,grockles with no sense of direction everywhere .There's only one road in and outa here ,you'd think people would realise that the bus back to their holiday camp is going south !

gobsmacked call from our most impoverished friend, who has been working to a plan to pay off her debts for years now... she has just got £16000 for missold PPI. She wants to use it to buy a new car, though we tried telling her a year-old one would be half the price. (She only wants a Ka, she's had one for 12 years and says they're simple and cheap to run, so maybe she's got a point.)
