He no longer walks among us. Oh dear.

Splutter.

It's very very bad form on AB to discuss an absent aber .

Was Saleh  Arouri an ABer. I didn't realise?

can we NOT make up rules about self-censorship please? The effecct of modding is bad enough

we have the un-mimsy rule - if it isnt mimsy, then it is deleted.I get alot of that

and the dead rule - if someone is dead then it is un-mimsy to refer to him, see rule above

yup I have been caught by that as well

that crossed my mind retro

as in - - I wonder what his English is like - was he really Landfill? Is it Jarg....

18:30, people refer to me all the time when I am absent.

I would not be aware of any discussion about ttt, not interested .

18:51 Then why moan? please feel free to ignore my threads. Your asinine, mono syllabic BS adds nothing. Pity you can't look beyond your hatred of us English and engage on the occasional sensible discussion instead of sniping from the sidelines.

No tears  here

No tears here either.  The world is a better place, if only just a little bit.

May he rest in pieces.

a deeply horrible man who wasted his precious life doing awful things. i am pleased that he is dead.

I wonder how many Israeli hostages are going to pay for that. Glad he's dead, but fearful for the repercussions.

quite honestly assassinating this man is likely the first meaningful damage done to hamas since october 7th.

What is particularly satisfying is most of these 'leaders' are ensconced in places safer than Gaza itself,  keeping themselves well out of the firing line, how sad for him to get zapped.

Many of the top ones live in the safety of  penthouses in Doha, Qatar, all on Iranian dosh, and Douglas Murray (whom God preserve) says there is even one living in Hendon & asks why he hasn't been deported - good question.

Douglas Murray is superb.

Interesting turn of phrase from Hamas - a "cowardly assassination".

 It comes not without risk though;

'The Beirut blast will fuel fears that this war risks triggering a broader conflagration, drawing in Iran-backed groups across the Middle East. The main focus of concern is on a full-blown conflict erupting between Israel and Hizbollah, which fought a 34-day war in 2006.
