Come to think about it JD, nor have I. When I was at junior school I remember buying a little bar of Toffee with a cow on, it was Mc something, can't remember the name. It was my favourite. I did also remember buying a 1/4 of Toffee crunch after school, mmmmm!
If you mean the sort of toffee where you need a hammer to break bits off, I doubt that any major supermarkets stock it (except perhaps as a Christmas novelty item) but specialist retailers will probably stock it or, of course, you can buy online (hammer included!):

I was thinking of bars in a wrapper like chocolate. I remember the trays of toffee in the shops which was broken by a hammer. My mother loved Brazil nut toffee. Banana toffee was my favourite.
>>> Stock up while you can. Cameron says, if we leave the EU....
Correct, Svejk, but his opponents say that if we stay in the EU British toffee will have to be renamed as 'semi-solidified inverted sugar' and only sold by the square metre ;-)
