I was stuck on the M40 for hours due to some inconsiderate idiot doing gymnastics with his (or her) car and blocking the road for two hours this afternoon.. Never mind... we had the Dunkirk spirit.. and six hours later we got home.. (via the chinese takeaway!) hurrah..

ewww. but it's No-no so bound to be a joke.. the boy who cried wolf and all that... when something terrible does happen we won't believe it.. sadly I was on the M40 (didn't see any gore - I think it was a blue beetle car-wise) for hours leaving son and cat to fend for themselves ( fathers and grandparents don't count)

The crash was perported to happen at twenty past four.. we were still waiting at half eight! so it must have been a nasty incident as surely the professionals know that a mother and her daughter can't spend six hours together!!
