Hi, does any one know why thay call an ice creaem cone with a lolly in the top a 'popeye'

hi, don't know about the 'popeye' but my kids call it 'a witches hat'.

Wow that brings back memories from our local Rossi van that did a lolly with ice cream smeared on its flat side that was called a Yogi Bear. Haven't got a clue why.

It's called a Popeye because the lollie should be a skinny one then it looks like Popeyes Pipe also a Witches hat does not have a lollie in it. A Witches hat is a Ice cream with another cone placed on top looking like a Witch. Try asking for a magic Lollie, a ice lollie which dissappers if you lick it for ten minutes.
Does anyone rembember Big Chiefs, Whoppers, Lord Toffinghams, Sky Rays or Walls Hearts

yuuuummm... i used to always buy a raspberry lollie with a big dollop of ice cream on it.... beautiful!
