Is this the sliced cheese or the grated cheese?
Question Author
sliced i think - its a question on behalf of someone
It is not a branded product, it is simply Subway processed cheese! Why do you ask out of interest?
Question Author
my friend keeps saying how tasty it is and as she doesnt go there very often she asked me to find out so she can buy it herself.
obviously, if its their own she cant.
do you work there, or run one ?
Hi Silverdaler, I own a Subway store! The reason I asked was that if there was a problem I would have tried to help you to resolve it! Glad she likes it, though! I don't think there is any particular way they make it and as far as I am aware it is no better or worse than any other processed cheese.

Wow, is that yellow plastic cheese then....!

thanks sue
whatever it is - my friend loves it !
cheers
For Sue11

I also like the cheese, its certainly not your usual processed 'cheese single' type stuff I would also love to know what it actually is.
Also since you own one of these franchises, can I ask what has happened to the 'Pizza Sub' that you used to have or for that matter the other Vegi ones other than 'delight' they used to be great, my kids loved them, but no where up here does them anymore??

Cheers
Hi osirion, you have me intrigued now! I have to have a look at the ingredients listed on the box of cheese to see what differs, I will let you know if I find anything different!
Some Subways sell the pizza sub as part of their menu range, we are all allowed to sell what is called a local market option and if all the stores in a district territory agree, then it goes on the menu for that area. But all stores still have all the ingredients to make up a pizza sub and they should not refuse you if you ask them. With the veggi option, once again the veggie patty is a local option and I am afraid if the local market decides to stop selling it, then it will be taken off the menu. It may be worth asking for it though, if enough customers ask then they may put it back on again. I think it is a shame if they don't as we don't have many veggi options to offer. We will be happy to make up the pizza sub for you and we stock the veggy patty, if you are ever in the Bournemouth area!!
Hope that helps, sorry to hijack your question a bit silverdaler!!
Cheers Sue
