Am I the only person alive who has no interest in taking photos? My smartphone is always with me and it has a decent camera that I use for eBay listings but I have never taken a selfie or felt compelled to take a photo just because I can. I prefer to watch and listen to the shows and gigs I go to, and just enjoy the peace and beauty oft scenery and sunsets, sunrises. I take a photo of an important occasion but that’s it.
I feel as if I am out of step with the rest of the world.

We went abroad, up mountains in Scotland, and so on. But, now that we are approaching the sunset of our lives, we have not the energy to get around as we used to. I got rid of my camera when film went out and digital came in, mainly because we do not go anywhere that warrants carrying a camera. If I had a camera now, we would merely take pictures of each other, and we already have many such photos. That's the way it goes, I suppose, when one gets older: one's interests change. Ah, well.
Wherever I go I buy postcards, they are always much better than any photo I could take and are not blighted by my ugly mug. It is easy to scribble the date on the back and my pithy comments to remind us of the day. I’ve encouraged my children and grandchildren to do the same and we have lovely memory albums
Never really been into photography. Had cameras & camera phones but hardly ever take pics. Maybe snap a crossword to send to a pal! The most interesting pics a took - ages ago - are of people.
My brother in law was keen on photography & continued to get prints even after digital came in. Shelves full of photo albums.
