I don't know whether this is just more pseudo-science mumbo-jumbo or a genuine postulation, but possibly worth a try.

To deter/defeat Coronavirus don't just wash your hands, but your mouth and nose also.

THANKS GOOD TO KNOW!
My be Trump was ahead a the game with his disinfectant or was it bleach claims. But tho the article says coronovirus it also says but not covid unfortunatley
Bob, but coronavirus is in fact Covid 19.
Ah yes but some (unsubstantiated) reports link mouthwash with mouth cancer - which you rather die of?
I won't use it
Yeah but no but... covid 19 is just one of the corona virus's. The etsts were not done on covid19. The article says "

"the researchers tested a common human coronavirus known as 229e — one of several strains that typically only cause mild infections like the common cold, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention — not SARS‐CoV‐2, which is the virus associated with COVID‐19."

Bobb
^which would you rather die of I meant
You don't have to use mouthwash, I presume you mean after cleaning your teeth??............LOL
You beat me to it, Bobb.

Coronavirus is a group, Covid is a specific strain of a coronavirus and, for some, much more deadly than your run-of-the-mill common cold coronavirus.

Prudie, mouthwash is a commonly prescribed thing in Oncology as mucositis is one of the most common side effects of chemotherapy.

There's much more oral cancer in Southern India where they chew tobacco and mouthwash is practically unheard of... ;-)
