Does Ab Make You Less Lonely?

Does anyone go onto AB to become less lonely?

Lonelyness can affect a lot of people and with increased limits on movement I wondered if anyone was feeling even more lonely

Nope, I have being chatting to family members I hardly see on Facebook a lot more than usual.

Not really as I've never been alone. I find AB interesting and like reading others opinions even if I disagree with them.

No I never feel lonely. I have plenty to do at home with animals and work and actually like being on my own. I would go mad if I had to share the house with the whole family 24/7.

I'm not lonely, but I enjoy AB and conversing with everybody, who I consider lovely people, in spite of the odd spat which means nothing, and is soon forgotten.

TD speak for yourself. I can't imagine any situation where I would feel lonesome in a crowd. I'll make conversation with anyone but equally happy to keep myself to myself.

Of course....Luckily I get on really well with mine. I know not everyone is so lucky or have such big families.

I'm gutted I can't see my new little niece/cousin....Her mother must be stir crazy.

I don't normally feel lonely sometimes I don't log into AB for several days.

Given the current situation we are in it's nice to keep conversing in as many ways as possible.

Now that I am semi-retired, I often get bored quite quickly and quite often. When that occurs, AB is one of the places I visit to relieve that boredom, particularly so now there is hardly any sport to study. I am more than happy with my own company so I never get lonely.

Not really. If I was lonely, I'd use Facebook or Twitter, and I don't use either. Still, AB does pass the time. A cure for boredom more than loneliness.

i think this whole thing is affecting my OH more than it is me, he's prowling looking for things to do, he's tidied kitchen cupboards, thre stuff out that's out of date (shameful) cleaned light fittings, shower head, taps, probably we will both start on the wardrobes tomorrow, I have a friend a lot younger who works for a homeless charity, we will fill bags and I will ask her to collect
