I think the coldest I’ve ever been was nearly 3 years ago in NY late December, - 20 on the ground

though i don't remember it we supposedly had one of the worse winters in 1963, someone correct me on that if i have got the wrong year....

My oldest sister lived in Whitstable at the time ( 63) and her kids were sliding off the nearby church roof to the drifts below

treacherous getting about i expect, i hate the winter with a passion, i know we have one every year, but the cold permeates every bit of me and i for one tend to hibernate
