like The Kadashians (I know, I don't understand why are so influential, either) what message would you give out?
I'd tell them that their faces and bodies are good enough and don't need cosmetic surgery that make them like identikit barbie dolls, nor dental veneers that look like very white oversized 1950 dentures. They just need to be more active and embrace their own individual look.

The thing is though that the Kardashians and so on are self perpetuated by the products they endorse, so it goes like this, or something like like this.
Girl who has good PR and people who know how things work, get papped with people who are higher up the tree than she is, so she becomes more. Her people 'place' brands on her, and she continues to be seen, so the brands then make it their business to ensure she climbs, is invited to all the right places, papped more, and this goes back and forth for a while, but if she doesn't have brand placement and the celebrity boyfriend, circle, what not, then that doesn't happen, so she is not influential. That's why it's so hard for actors, actresses, celebs, singers whatever to actually be themselves, they are always projecting something of a lie to enable them to maintain their position.
I won't play that game, at all, it's one of the things that has really turned me off acting, and so I expect to be only limitedly successful, but for myself I always tell people to be healthy, happy, make sure they can look themselves in the eye with their actions and that kindness goes a long way.
