Yes, all done.
yes, the tree is just starting to sparkle and I have bought all the presents I'm likely to. (Too late for shopping online and doing it in person tomorrow is going to be soooo claustrophobic.)

Still time to provide a link, though

Oh, thank you, Jno. That's lovely!

Question Author
Right, that's three of us sorted. My visitors will be arriving tomorrow and so I am going to make the most of a bit of chilling out this evening.
NOBODY has finished everything yet!!!

BY LAW, everyone has to remember that one important item which they should have bought for Christmas (such a pack of batteries for the kids' toys, a bottle of Scotch for grandad or the turkey) at EXACTLY one minute after the shops close on Christmas Eve. It wouldn't be Christmas otherwise!

;-)

I don't care what I've forgotten, I'm not spending any more money. If we haven't got it, we can't have it.

(Getting worried now)
We haven't got enough mince pies
Haven't done a lot Tilly.
The advantage of living on your own is that that is nothing really to prepare.
Question Author
Hoppy, there's still time to make mince pies. Christmas Eve is mince pie making day here.
Yes I'm done. Just sitting with a glass of Baileys. Having a pizza later.
I am with you Tilly, if we haven't got it we can't have it.
Question Author
Danny, I'm sure I'll get to that point one day. I hope you have a pleasant day, despite being alone.
Question Author
Having visitors at Christmas puts a whole new layer of preparations to be made.

If it was just us, I wouldn't bother too much. It would be just like any Sunday but with better wine. :-)
Tilly, I will get family visiting so not entirely alone.
three small pressies to wrap.
Question Author
I'm pleased to hear that, Danny.

Do you have enough sellotape, DTC?
Save the pizza until Christmas Day, Sharon ;-)

Sorry, I'm confused.

Did you say MAKE mince pies?
I'm equally confused, Hopkirk.

I think Tilly2 must work for Mr Kipling. Nobody else makes mince pies, surely?
