Do you have a family tradition for this meal or is it anything for ease and simplicity before the following days excesses?
We have something quick, simple and easy...pizza and salad this year...before we clear everything away, put the Christmas CD on and get stuck into a few drinks while peeling the veg and preparing the turkey etc. for Christmas Dinner.

I just googled the Phil vickery method, sounds good. I like the idea of it making its own gravy, more or less.
On 24th Dec Eve we are having lobster in garlic butter to start followed by confit of Goose with saute potatoes and a green veg as yet undecided. Pudding will be a passion fruit pavlova (my teenage son makes fab meringues). On the 25th we have family over and its Turkey this year with 'all the trimmings'
OK
A faint heart never won a fair lady.Don't get me zapped mind. It is Christmas!! From This Morning several years ago and about 7 mins long. Back soon just go and find it.
