Grrr!!! We live in Romford and hope were not in eye of the storm.
Me either, have just been told that a tree in my garden is hollow and needs to come down, would rather the tree surgeon did it than god!!

The storm won't hit me but I share your pain. I am terrified of the wind and rain. I usually make myself ill worrying about it all.

Agree Wolf, I'm fine with thunder but howling wind is quite frightening.
My old man's just going out to put sandbags on the trampoline legs, last bad storm we had it blew over the fence :(

I love the wind but can't stand the rain but will have to brave it as we've got dentist appointments on monday.
That 1987 storm was horrendous, and I was so scared!
Terrified we were going to lose the roof too.
Lets hope that they have got this all wrong---no storm on its way.

Weirdly, I don't mind rain apart from when its windy and your umbrella turns inside out and buckles.

I remember that Puss. I was living with my parents at the time and the rain somehow came through my bedroom wall. My carpet was soaked.
