Sloopy, 71 at our 'local' is Curried Duck.
...but not always ;)
No.71 at my takeaway is Mushrooms with X.O Sauce, whatever that is.
Slightly off topic; however, if you are doing your own stir-fry and have no water chestnuts just slice up some radishes and throw them into the mix.
Sloopy, 71 is Barbecued spare ribs with Green peppers and Black bean sauce at our local Chinese takeaway.
maybe there's regional variations in number 71? It works round here
Good idea stewey, similar texture.

humbersloop

Mmmmmmm, maybe sloopy.
Here at our local it's king prawn and green peppers in a black bean sauce
thats 125 at ours, Jeza.
I don't have a takeaway menu to check!

Am I weird? That is a rhetorical question.......
not at all eccles

*coughs*

;)
Sloopy, Mr Sloopy's theory is 131 here.
Ham or Egg Foo Yung
71 here is chicken with ginger and onions.
#71: vegetable egg foo yung here

hmm you are all whetting my appetite now (well, with obvious exceptions)
Clearly the sorts of menu items available changes where you are too - i would, for instance, not get "crab and sweetcorn soup" round here, nor mushroom omlette
Question Author
ps 71 is house special chow mein here
omlette is on the English part of the menu.
mind you, as a theory I think it was developed waiting in the Chinese after an evening at the local, but worth testing

have you decided what you're having bedders?
