Hi, looked right through the Weight Watchers book and cannot find anything on Beef Tomato. Does anyone know the points value of a Beef Tomato chinese takeaway ? - it's only beef, tomato, onions and sweet/sour tomato sauce (no rice) ?

Cheers,
Andy

im not sure about the points, but beef tomato in a Chinese Takeaway uses alot of Oil, Sesame oil, salt, sugar and MSG

unless u ask them not to use MSG and salt then you should be ok.

ah right thanks, i was guessing about 9 points ? - does anyone know if that sounds right ? - judging by some of the other chinese dishes.

Regards,
Andy
nearest i can find is deef and broccoli as listed below

Beef with Broccoli
Calories: 900 Sat Fat: 9 grams Sodium: 3,200 mg
Although more than half the dish is broccoli, the pound of beef still packs half a days worth of saturated fat

which works out to 13 points,so your guess is probably somewhere about right :-)
*beef even lol

cheers! - i factored it in for 14 points, just to be safe, so a pretty good guess. Not gonna be on my daily list though, maybe once a fortnight, as a treat lol !! ;)
