I agree lardy.....I think he must have got bored labelling everything 9p. Lol
Hope you didn't forget the milk and bacon though Sparkles. Well done you.
I love rhubarb crumble - enjoy!
All sounds good to me, well done.
Me too! my flour was 2 for 1, caster sugar 50% extra free and my neighbour had given me a tray of eggs instead of the usual 18, so that added to my bargain wax free lemons, 50% extra glace cherries and 2 for one on Golden raisins and sultanas means I can do double the cake for the coffee and cake morning at the church, for my usual price!

It was Tesco TW, they are usually really good about half an hour before they close.
Sparkles, around my neck of the woods, Tesco's never close they are 24 hour ones !.
thanks for that sparkles, our Tesco is 24 hours, so they never close until sunday 4pm.

Ours closes at 8 in the week and 4 on a sunday, so we get all the bargains. X
I am never in there late enough for the real bargains - our friend got a sea bass in Morrisons for 18p once.
As a student I worked in Tesco and they never reduced ANYTHING. At the end of the day fresh food was binned. Several people were sacked for either eating it or trying to take it home.
when I worked in the hospice, M&S used to deliver a lot of their short-dated stuff to us as a charitable gesture.

I try and time my shopping right, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, just the luck of the draw I suppose.
I once came out of there with 3 hot cooked chickens for 25p each.
Couldn't leave them there, it was chicken sandwiches, soup, salad, stew etc for a few days.
Your a canny lass, Sparkles ;-)
