I don't think the chap realised what it could really fetch:

Looks lovely and in a perfect setting on a brick wall, I don’t think you would get such an effect on a plain wall Lcg
It looks lovely.
Looking good!
That vertical radiator is a piece of art in itself on the brick wall.

Thanks ladies.

I've got to find a mirror for the sitting room now and I'm really struggling on that one.
What have you in your mind for the mirror Lcg ?
I think the king's been photobombed!
Maybe the chap knew just how much people were realistically willing to pay for it? The ones who are asking for much more for their mirrors - the ones you rejected - may just be chancing their arms?
Looks good.

I did notice that, Dave ;)

I like this Bobbi, but it's too big to go above this fireplace:

Thanks Ken.
It says it's available in a 4 panel option. Have you looked at that?
Nice mirror. :)
What about panoramic? Or would that bd ‘old’ :0))
Question Author
The website won't let me order it, Pasta. I'd have to ring Customer Service I guess but I'm thinking of having the 6-panel mirror in the hallway now so I'll need to fine a suitable console to go with it.

I love the little mirror rosettes too, but that wouldn't work for a 4-panel mirror:

It looks great - have you researched the ghost behind the King? At least you know he's not a vampire... ;-)
Question Author
I'm sending the ghost out shopping in a bit :-)
Ooh, those rosettes are gorgeous.
Question Author
Sorry, Bobbi, I missed your question. I've looked at all kinds of mirrors and I must admit I'm struggling. It took me nearly 2 years to find the light to go above the kitchen island.
Lcg you’ve obviously got an eye for the nice things and will wait till you see exactly what you want
Question Author
I am a bit of a perfectionist...

I'm having a similar problem with the console for the hallway. Everything I like is either far to big or comes from Juliette's Interiors and is therefore so far out of my price range it's not even funny!
Looks really lovely.
