What are your favourite type of sausages?

There are loads of different varieties available now, but are there any you would like to see?

I'm thinking of buying a sausage machine and was just wondering what delicious ideas you guys would come up with (for delicious read "wacky" in the case of some people......)

Not slug then Fluffs?

I am not really all that keen on traditional sausages - although I had some pork and apple ones recently which were nice.

I fancy making some different ones, like chicken and tarragon or venision and juniper.
lamb rosemary and mint
Ostrich ,sage onion,
Venison port and apricot
pork with chilli and lemongrass
Leek and laverbread (seaweed) from a butchers in Swansea.
slug sausages are best avoided

i watched some american programme and they had either chicken or turkey sausage it looked vile, like a big white maggotty thing

german market on monday i shall eat my fill of german sausages!

lol, I hadn't thought what they might look like.

Some lovely ideas there - I like the laverbread idea - wonder if it would work with samphire. Really liking the venison port and apricot idea as well.

Hopefully my machine will arrive soon and I can start playing.

(We went from "thinking about it" to "buying it")
I like spicy pork sausages, I have not had them for years, I could only buy them from the butchers (who have since closed)
Pork

Don't like any sausages with flavoured stuff in them.
Aw Fluff we are going back tomorrow Redman will eat all the sausages unlucky...
We get Irn Bru sausages up here. I've never tried them but they're supposed to be really tasty.
you tell redman if he goes anywhere near my sausages i'll hunt him down and make him listen to me sing
If you're ever in Edinburgh and fancy a banger these guys have more than 40 different varieties of most excellent sausages.

Some really nice ideas here. Just looked on the link MissN provided - they have some corkers.

I'm thinking I'll be able to get my "fussy eater" to eat practically anything if it's inside his second favourite food - sausages!
Ginge likes sausages....luckily. I don't :-(

I hope they have other food at this market???
have just been to our local prizewinning butcher to order the turkey and he has chicken and blackpudding sausages, and asparagus and stilton ones as new ranges. he does loads of unusual ones.
my favourites though are caramelised onion and pork from costco.
We use these guys. They were recently featured in Adrian Edmonson's programme "Ade in Britain", and they'll make any combination you want (within reason).....
