After watching today's "Four In A Bed" they cooked sausages in the oven. Is this the best way to cook sausages or do you have alternatives?

I always grill sausages, always have and always will. I like the way they sit nicely between the rungs of the grill and are easy to turn. As well as tasting nice of course ;)

I always cook mine in the oven.
I always cook them in the oven. Just put them in the oven, turn over half way through. Then you don't need to hover over them in a pan or under the grill.
The best sausages for me are cooked in an air fryer......x
Oven for me too.
Depends on the sausage- a butcher sausage I would do in a frying pan a processed cheap sausage I would do in the oven
cook mine in the oven.
Last night, I cooked venison sausages in the oven. I also added halved fresh tomatoes to the roasting tin. The results were lovely.
I cook mine in a pan. I find the oven can make the outside go a bit tough. I don't know why I bother though as I don't eat them :-)
I cook my sausages in the oven too.
I always cook mine on my George Foreman grill and griddle, no there way
I don't likes sausages and favour chipolatas.

I tend to colour them in a pan on the hob and then transfer to the oven to slowly finish off.
Baking sausages is possibly the easiest way since you won't face the problem of getting them evenly cooked which can occur when grilling or frying (especially if you place them on a rack, over a baking sheet, in the oven). Trying to turn sausages to the correct position under a grill, or in a frying pan, can be tricky - they always want to turn back to a different position!

However most of the sausage I eat are those which I've put into a casserole. Delicious!
I flambé mine :-)
I make casseroles too Chris, I cook a large amount of sausages on an oven tray and remove some before fully browned - they are frozen in portions for use in other dishes later.

Economical when cooking for one.
In the pro kitchen I have worked in we always cook them in the oven.
We cook 10 Kilos of sausages & 15 Kg of bacon every morning just for breakfast rolls . All on trays in the oven.
I may, one day, understand why people grill meat.
In the kitchen I trained in the Chef would have taken your head off your shoulders with a blunt knife if you oven baked sausages!
I hate casseroled sausages but I appreciate everyone is different!
I never grill meat. The only things I grill is cheese on toast and whole fish.
I've stayed in a B&B where notices were displayed explaining that ALL of the components of their cooked breakfasts were oven-baked, on health grounds.
Mainly the frying pan, brown them stick a lid on them a cook through.
