Tandoori Chicken and salad.
I don't know :-(
chicken and salad wraps
Monday night we had chilli followed by baked alaska.
Tuesday night we had prawn chorizo and chickpea stew followed by bread and butter pud.
Last night we had a chicken which I poached, with new potatoes out the garden, green beans and a tarragon and white wine sauce, followed by lemon meringue pie.
Tonight I will do something with the rest of the chicken - probably just reheat it with some ginger, chillis, spice and yoghurt and whack it on some noodles.

Funnily enough had Tandoori chicken & salad wraps last night!
How do you do your tandorri chicken?
This week...boring old cold meat salad, pilchard salad....tonight chicken breast for me, sausages for OH with potatoes and veg..... not being too adventurous here but sometimes we go for it and have beans on toast <smile> Are you into veg and bacon? One dish I make is boil cauliflower, brocolli, peas, carrots, onions (or any other veg). Cut your choice of bacon into strips and fry. Combine cooked veg and bacon with herbs (little tomato paste or ketchup) put into oven proof dish/dishes, pour over cheese sauce, sprinkle with cheese (optional) and grill for a few minutes...we find it very tasty and filling. Hope that might help for inspiration.
Last night, seared tuna steak (marinated in lime and salt) on a salad of mixed leaves with pine nuts, avocado and little peppers stuffed with feta and garlic bread. Tonight, the rest of the tuna (cold) on same salad and bulked out with some garlic/ginger prawns. Don`t know about tomorrow yet. I don`t tend to plan because I never know what i`ll be in the mood for.
snap No Mercy, we are having tandoori chicken done at home its marinating now and plain rice as the chicken is very rich and a side salad.
Hope you enjoy.

Ummmm, my mother makes it for me. She's the curry/tandoori expert but when it comes to things like lasagne or paella, she relies upon my expertise.

I'll try and get a recipe from her.
Cheers....Ginge would like that I think...
Yes please NoM. Post it in here: http://www.theanswerb...od-and-Drink/Recipes/ so it can be found independently of a "what are you having for dinner?" thread!

That way I might be able to find it when I need it!
Wish I knew, hope to find some ideas from here. Drives me nuts trying to think of something different.

I make my tandoori chicken by combining natural yoghurt with Garamasala, paprika, chilli powder, cumin, tomato puree garlic & ginger. throw some chicken breasts in it and leave it overnight. I then just grill the chicken. Its possibly not the most authentic but we enjoy it!
Sounds good to me MrsLeeG.
