Know that Mic is very ill in hospital. I have just had a call from a funeral director asking if I have a funeral plan. When I heard funeral director I went into melt down and didn't really hear the rest. Turns out he is selling pre paid funerals. I'm sure you can imagine what I was thinking. It's taken me nearly ½ an hour to pull myself together. I realise he is only doing his job but boy he didn't half scare me. All house rules are now broken. B&C is usually between 10 and 11. tonight it is NOW.

Jeza - sorry to hear this and this was pretty callous of him to approach you with such a question, even by phone.

There are plenty of us around this evening if you need support but I too would recommend a second glass! Maybe a third one.

Jeza - that's awful. It may have no connection with Mic being in hospital, the guy may just be ringing a list and it's a dreadful coincidence on your part. Not good practice though.

I do realise it now It was a cold call. I bet the guy who called has a good laugh about it when he tells his mates down at the pub. I don't think I'll ever see the funny side.

On the other hand... it just might make him think about the people he's calling. He's no idea what's happening on the other end of the phone. I think it's awful.
