Yes,condensed milk by cow&gate.

evaporated and condensed milk are still available in supermarkets, Carnation brand, and Nestle.

Great spread on bread

I spent a couple of years in Sri Lanka at the end of the eighties - you used to buy milk in a plastic bag there!
You can get it in a sqeezy tube now
no it was uht milk to drink, it was gross, I remember a fizzy version too

Fizzy milk.....yukkkkk!

BTW if you put a can of condensed milk in a saucepan of water and let it boil gently for 50 minutes, it turns into lovely soft caramel ~ great for making millionaire's shortbread!

I used to love Nestle condensed milk when I was a kid, but it sets my teeth on edge now.; the old choppers aren't what they were. It's also way too sickly for me now. I wonder if people's tastes naturally change as they get older.
Marvel?
I remember it, I only ever had one can, think it was semi skimmed, and the ring pull fell off so I had to get my friend's dad to prise it open, was around 1993 I think.
