if it was a wind up then the OP would not have come back tto the thread

if it was genuine and the OP had gone to the police then Im sure theyd have been told not to publicise it on the net and therefore would not come back to the thread. It could jeopardise and legal case there mayhave been

Im off the same opinion as redcrx here TBH -IPs are easy to find if you have the know how so maybe it was best removed since she said she was going to the police.

It seemed genuine to me -it was just some of the oher fools who werent.

She has no threads left on here as i checked last night - so im assuming it was a protection/limitation exercise and sometimes they get too excited on SAB.Her previous thread has also been removed and had been there for months so what does that tell you ?
