I have never understood the allure of basing tv programmes on allowing people to look stupid. Then treating them as celebrities.

You obviously don't watch it so what difference does it make to you?
Marvellous. :o)

I shall be very pleased to see it finally come to an end.
I watched the first one when it was 'New' and quite a few of the 'Celeb' ones over the years... but even though they tried to make it spangly and new, it just became a bit stale.
That is good news. Let's hope they abolish all trash TV in time.

If BB is ending why will they need a supply of celebs?

Now to get rid of emmerdale and constipation street and eastenders and life would be almost perfect
Back to OP, where will the supply of "Celebs" come from now? I once saw Christopher Biggins in a Pantomime when I was a kid... so I'm sure I'd have qualified.
The first 3 series were interesting from a social experiment point of view
^agreed.
Failed acts on the talent shows, ex politicians, old djs and assorted corrs
I will admit to never having watched , Love Island, Towie, The only way is through Essex, avoid Geordie girls and such but isn't that where they come from now.
can't see the appeal. I find it so boring

Watched a bit of one episode in Seris 1, never been back.
I rather like The Corrs....
I never watched it, so it doesn't affect me.
