on friday nite my car was smashed up at the bk of the local football hall.on returing to my car the police gave me a producer.can i get points on my licience for driving with no insurance even tho i wasnt driving the car.all advice welcome thanx

A car must be insured if it is not on private land belonging to you or with the land owners' express permission.

You will get points and a fine.

Probably 6 points! maybe more, a friend of mine got charged with driving with no insurance and got a fine and 6 points. If it is within 2 years of you passing your driving test and you get 6 or more points your licence will be revocted and you will have to re do your test, both theory and practical.
