Am I being stupid,ignorant,or just plain thick,?WE are sending millions of pounds to India in foreign aid and they have just sent a craft to MARS,I don't understand the reasoning behind this

Even some British Asians are saying it is ridiculout - taht the sewers dont work in Bombay and they re sending things to Mars

India's nuclear armaments cost about £950m/year. We send them about the same in aid. I think a few hospitals could be funded with that amount of cash!

It's because India spend their money on this that we and others have to help look after their poor and destitute - as clearly India won't look after their own.

Wouldn't be so bad if we were rolling in dosh. We have to borrow money to 'survive' and send a Billion quid a month abroad.
Don't worry, the 'right-on' brigade will be along to explain how wonderful it is to us simple folk. ;)
