I'd say it was Maids, Housekeeper and Butler.

he could be a nurse...that suit and tie could be the uniform of a mental hospital at the time. If the lady in front of him is the matron, then he could be the Hospital secretary; if they are student nurses (no caps), he could be a college principal. also off chance in those uniforms that they might be maids, in which case that might be the housekeeper and butler.

I think that's more likely to be a student nurse uniform than a nun's habit. In the early days of nursing, student nurses were treated more like novice or postulant nuns and the uniforms had some similarities
