does anyone know whats going on in the O2 centre this week as some school kids are going up this week to sing up there.

it was on breakfast tv this morning. that's exactly what it is, lots of school children from around the country all getting together to sing, something like 8,000 children i think. and an audience to listen to them.

I would love to go. Such a wonderful idea! It's about time music was given higher priority in schools.

d'you know what lottie, i had tears rolling down my cheeks this morning, listening to all those young voices. you're right, singing is very uplifting, and listening to a choir gets me every time, wonderful :)

When I was at school music was very important as were school choirs. I lived in London and there was an annual competition for all the school choirs held at the town hall every year!! We used to love it.

My singing wouldn't uplift anyone these days. I used to be good, but something must have happened to change it!!
