Anything to do with prescription drugs should ideally be discussed with your GP, but presuming you just want personal opinions here goes... I was given this drug by an over-enthusiastic Dermatologist when he noticed a single spot on my face (he was supposed to be treating my son, not me!) After a few days I started to feel really 'weird' and my skin felt tight, but I still continued. I then developed giddyness and chronic flu-like symptoms, and as I couldn't look after a small child in this condition I binned them. The difference is Tia Mae that I didn't have a problem in the first place and I was put on a very high dose. Now you are probably on this drug for a very different reason, so if you are having worrying side-effects please see your GP or Dermatologist and I emphasize that any replies are purely individual.
A friend of mine was on it for his severe acne, it did help but he complained of mood swings and dry, itchy patches of skin all over his body. I'm not sure what the dosage was though.
Hi there. You should visit this site as they have spent the last 6-7 years studying the side-effects of this drug. http://www.accutaneaction.com/
