Ive been on Roaccutane for the past 11 months now and it has had a really good effect on my skin with no negative consequences. However, I came off it for the month of September and after about 3 weeks of being off it, I noticed little pimples starting to sprout once again!!It's so frustrating to think that as soon as I come off it my skin will go back to it's normal spotty self. I thought Roaccutane was meant to get rid of acne for ever??Does anyone have any experience of this happening?(This has been my second time being on Roaccutane as I think I wasn't left on it long enough the first time and the spots returned shortly after stopping the medication)

My daughter is 17 and took Roaccutane ( i think she had 4 or 5 courses) each time the spots cleared, she has been off it for about 12 months but her skin has gradually got worse and she gets quite a few spots. I would however take her back and get another course. Sorry to give bab news but this is our experience.

My sister has been on roaccutane for this past year, and every time she stopped her skin complection and acne started back but always seemed worse after the medication had stopped. the only solution is to keep on it.

sorry.
