following on from one of my questions last nite

when i asked abers are theymenbers of any teams ie - darts , football , social club

not that many were , i assumed we all lived fairly interessting lives , but was amazed how many people dont in fact do that much , are u going to make any changes to your social life in the new year???

soz Red I won't be joinning any social clubs around here, they are all beer and skittles type places, I anm quite happy doing my Family History research as and when i want and looking after my home and family in between working full time, I have never been one to go looking for things to amuse me!!!

My life is busy enough and it doesn';t have to qualify as interesting in anyone's mind but my own. I have been on here for a number of years, no reason to suddenly stop because other users (who are also on here) question the value and puepose of my life (whilst they also post on here)

in actual fact, i am cooking the Sunday Dinner, whilst watching the Eastenders omnibus (which i missed in the week cos of the late night openings) and also using the net , so it's not like i am obsessively trying to get inside other peoples minds whilst using the site, it's not up to anyone else how people live their lives, waste their time or behave in their own homes, trying to imply someone is boreing, lonely or inadequate socially.

Hiya Red, how are you? :) ....Just because you don't belong to a club doesn't necessarily make you anti social - I go out and about often but couldn't stick belonging to a darts or football club.

REDHEAD did you see Ken Dodd last night on BBC 4? He was part of Dawn French's Boys who do comedy series. I don't "get" him personally, but apparently he's quite funny.

I can't play darts, but have been to a darts social event-does that kill two birds?

I am a member of AB...The coolest club I know ;) lol.

Working and going to Uni are my focuses (foci?!) right now, but I am always keen to meet new people and try new things. I should graduate in July, so I can concentrate on finding permanent work and settling somewhere.

I am hoping to widen my social circle in 2008 by whatever means necessary! Be that joining the local ladies darts team (i cant play it though) or the Leicester ladies shot putt team! Now THAT i am good at!personally i feel i have the figure for both! :-)
I would like to join a football team, preferably Liverpool, but only in the communal bath at the end of a match!
