Hi goodsoulette , ...moo....lol :-)
Skyep sweetie.....just grab my coat ...
Ok just read it properly, funnily enough when I was 10 I was about 5 '4 and weighed 35 kilos and my doctor asked me if I got picked on for being a meaty girl. I was horrified and wouldnt eat any crap, in hind sight I realise he was joking.. amazing stupidity, huh?

Goodsoulette , hee you would have thought your doc would know a 10 yr old might miss the joke :-)
Annie , thankyou , I never thought of that , certain foods that may affect certain conditions. Oh btw , me knowing which underwear I was wearing was in case the questions were so plentiful that I would need to know the colour :-)

wow 40kg!! you are petite!!

the last time I was that weight I was about 11 !!
Just one more thing bigmamma
They may prescribe you the drinks that they give to help patients who are underweight. You would have these, not as a substitute for food, but as an addition. They are quite nice to take.
Hi bigmamma, you should be weemamma lol like I am weeal.

I am now around 50kg and 5'3" and still feel underweight. I went to a dietician when I was around 44kg and had to write everything out, what I ate/drank all my exercise etc for a fortnight. At the time I was karate training around 4 times a week so was burning it off right away. I was consuming around 3500 calories per day and it was varied and healthy, she was pleased it included milk n yoghurt etc.

The only suggestion the dietician could come up with was "could you maybe eat an extra roll with butter each day?" No use to me whatsoever.

Ive put on weight now by being a couch potato and eating loads of take-aways lol

Good luck missus
