Do the drug user's that use this site work, drive, have children? And please tell me if i've touched a raw nerve with some of you or you think i'm just being intrusive of your personel life.

A mate of mine has just retired at 40. He had his own firm, sold it for a mint and is now going to enjoy his life travelling around the world.
He has smoked weed on a regular basis for 20 odd years..as far as I know the only time he has had off work is for the common cold every now & then. Never driven under the influence, either. He smokes weed in the evenings ~ never at work, and I doubt most users do smoke at work.
However I have known people go out for a few jars of alcohol at lunchtime..or go into work with a hangover from boozing the night before.

LOL Lauwrence do want me to start listing the long term affects of alcohol, where do I start.
The effects of a spliff or two wear off in an than an hour or so, so I think the next day is pretty safe.
I'm sure you do a self test before driving after a night on the beer!!

He dosen't have to look stoned to be under the influence, i bet hes driving under the influence as him being a ''regular user'' = 1 month weed can be detected in his urine, so unless he took sufficent time off he would of failed a drug screen if stopped by police, i can see why i would'nt want drug screening at his place of work, being your own boss.........................

As I have said before, my father smokes weed and in all the time he has smoked it he has NEVER had the side effects that alcohol had on him.

He couldn't get out of bed in the morning without pouring a half bottle of vodka down his throat first. He couldn't leave the house because he thought people were outside telling him they were going to kill him, and when he did venture out he was quite often attacked and robbed. He would drink from half empty cans he found in the street, and knock on peoples doors begging for money for drink.
Since smoking weed he has been able to hold down a job, get on the train, go without weed for days on end (not addicted, you see).

I mentioned the fact that he ran his own firm and made such a success of it that he was able to sell the business to clarify that smoking weed has never affected his working life.
Obviously he has never been ill from smoking it, nor has he suffered the effects you mention. He wouldn't have been able to hold down a job if that were the case.
Gambling & alcohol have been proven to wreck lives far more than smoking weed. Both of these are legal..and I believe alcohol should be a class A drug.

You really don't get it do you, having traces of dope in your system does mean that you would fail a drug screen but that does not make you unfit to drive, we are talking minute traces.
You would be safe to drive within a far less time by having a spliff or two than having a pint or two, get your facts right.
and I know it is a little irrelevant in this country but someone stoned on weed would probably pass all the field sobriety tests as used in the USA very easily as most people are still in total control, just very chilled out!!

Like I said I don't actually use any drugs!! and very rarely drink alcohol!! but I used to, I gave it up easily and without issue
And the weed was so much nicer than the booze and safer!! and you will never upset me or p!ss me off, you are too insignificant to do that lol
