Don't question me you moron, you have never met me and never will. I'm not going to get drawn into an argument about who knows more about something than some imbasile that lost the argument 3 pages ago.If you would care to go back, reread what I have written I'm sure you will agree with me, except for everything about freedom of choice, respect, common sense, being unpredjeduced, helping peopel that are sick, love for fellow man, and not being a facsist. I have experiance of trying a few drugs in the past but i dont touch any of them now and havent for 3 years. my partner smokes skunk like it is cigs, he has done for years it has seriously affected his short term memory and when he as been smoking hard he is barely able to hold down a conversation i have to ask him the same question about 3 times before i get an answer. when he hasnt smoked for a good few hours he is very irritable and moody. he will tell anyone he isnt addicted and that it doesnt affect you or give you any health problems. as i am the sober one and live with it everyday i can with experiance tell you the drug is very addictive and it is very dangerous it alters your complete personality im not talking about all you lot who have a few puffs on a spliff every now and then im talking about the real everday smokers who can not go a single day without it. he has a spliff on a morning before he goes to work then smokes all night till bed time when he gets home. he puts half a cig in each spliff and we all know the health problems cigs can cause.

there is nothing i can do about his addiction apart from hope one day he will give up. lookily he doesnt drive!

Drugs are for the lonely and lifes losers, simple as that.

All because I have never done drugs does not mean I do not know anything about them. Surely with my sober head, I infact know more because I can see the horrors they vcreate in society.

Perhaps all the pro druggies would like their Grandmother mugged for the price of a ten-bag, or have their house burgled of all their Christmas toys on Christmas eve so some addict can smoke some filthy crack.

im sure all the drug users want to point out that they are not all dossers who claim benefits. this is true very succesfull people take drugs people graduate from university and have high rolling jobs this is not the issue.

the issue is that they think it does not affect them physically and mentally and that they are not addicted.

in my experiance drugs are very addictive if used everyday and it does have long term affects on you if not your IQ then definitley your personality all my partners freinds smoke everyday and have done for years and all there girlfriends that i know have the same problems as me. moody personality the selfishness its like there in a bubble and everything is all about them. i smoked it and didnt like it so i never got addicted but people do get addicted and its hard to get out of it

i dont get the point of this thread anymore....what point exaclty are you trying to make?? That all people who smoke a bit of weed, dabble with/have dabbled with drugs are bad people & bad parents?? how stupid are you? I dabbled with weed couple of years ago - very few times but have seen many friends with drug problems - doesnt mean they are bad people -prehaps they have problems that they dont know how to deal with or something. I would never agree to people using drugs in front of children - i dont think that is right but i also feel that about smoking in front of kids and being drunk. I dont think you are being intrusive but you are blatently bored and trying to have a go at people and prehaps try to make them feel guilty. You seem a bit of a sad case to be honest.

Excuse my ignorance here, but aren't drugs illegal? Therefore users are breaking the law.

If one who breaks the law isn't a bad person, then who is?

I suppose one could argue I drive a little of the speed limit at times, and if I go to the shops by car I may sometimes not wear a seatbelt but that is it!!!

Given drug dealing holds a sentance of 15 years, whilst ABH holds 5, and any theft offence just 7 years, I ask you!!!

Well an interesting thread this turned out to be.

So what have i learned then from this thread?

I've learned that ''druggies'' all stick together and try to force their habit onto others, dare you question this in any form as the pack leader {S,Boy} will no doubt try to put you right.

I've learned that druggies be it the occasional ''spliff'' or the more regular user believe they don't have a problem and that they are apparently ''IN CONTROL'' of the situation.

I've learned that ex-amount on here clearly believe that smoking a spliff the night before driving or going to work is no big issue, and traces of weed in their urine is ''NO BIG DEAL'' apparently.

But the most important thing i've learned is how many of you have a total disrepect for the law by, buying illegal drugs and blatantly boasting that you take them, your the low lifes of this earth without a doubt, and you call yourself responsible people, don't make me laugh, i might rant and rave at some of you, but i'll rather be me than some ''druggie''

I have never dabbled with drugs, I used to smoke tobacco (disgusting habit) and quit 10 years ago, I dont drink alcohol at all, but I dont think that makes me a total novice on the subject, If I see something that doesnt look good I am not going to try it.

At my daughters school there are a lot of parents who take all manner of drugs, some are okay some are really awful and are very abusive to their kids, I think addiction is a variable thing, some people get addicted easy and some dont, therefore I would prefer to steer clear of drugs.

that said people who dont take drugs or drink or smoke actually do have fun!, we can enjoy ourselves like the next person. I prefer to have my faculties around me as I am a parent and its my responsibility. Even when they have gone to bed in the evening you can never tell what kind of evening you will have, sometimes they might wake up at a strange hour and be getting sick, and 2 of my kids need close supervision.

I dont agree with using drugs (however harmless) but that is based on seeing constant drug use in the area I live, the people dont seem happy, the kids are definatly affected and on the whole Its not a good advert, especially in parents.

there is a teenager who takes drugs in my area, when he has smoked a spliff he doesnt get all relaxed and mellow he walks aroung the estate with a plastic bag over his head, in the bottom of the bag is glue, to me that isnt harmless!

haha - there was nothing to 'give up'! It was very ar and inbetween. I actually tried to mak ethen point (not that clear now i read it back ) that even thoug hi dont have personal experience i hva ehad many friends who i have seen gone through this- they were not all bad people. i was questioning if you actually had a POINT to make.rather than just having a go at people

I think people who take drugs regularly, for recreational use (not medical purposes) etc, are always looking for the next high (drugs related or not), as once they have had the taste of drugs, every other previous way of relaxation, enjoyment or having fun fades immensely in comparison ... it doesn't have anything to do with money, status or how educated they are, drugs are available everywhere to everyone and some people fall for the addiction more readily than others....
