What are your views on marijuana usage? Do you find it acceptable? Do you use it yourself?
What do you think of it compared to alcohol and its associated problems? What about punishments for use and possession, and effects on our kids?

talking bout going off subject!!!! i think the lesson here is drugs ARE illegal but if they werent then they are not as harmful as alcohol. Where alcohol is better is the measures of control in that we know how they're prepared and that there is an average amount to take each week before its too much. EVERYTHING IN MODERATION

I think all drugs should be legalised,obviously there would be casualties but then there are anyway.legalisation would make it easier to govern supplies and keep crime out of the equation.If people want drugs they are going to find them,quality control could save a lot of people other harm.

I have been reading your answers with most interest and for some one so young you have a very wise out look on life.
I doubt very much if 'joe' has the credentials that he says he has he seems to get very tetchy dont you think? This subject has been talked about for years if not centuries and the answer is still the same.As you said every thing in moderation.
Now i am a spiritulist i do not have a religion but i dont look down on those that do, my faith keeps my soul and body healthy and also it keeps me real.
back to what 'jo' was saying about drugs keeping the I.R.A going of course they have but so have pirate copy films, Mc Donalds etc, so lets not pigeon hole one type of people because its fits with your way of thinking, this argument could go on forever.....the difference is with most [people on this site they will listen think and then type unfortunately you get the odd one that is well lets say a bit ........odd......!!

well zebuk luckily you are strong , but unfortunately many are not.i know folk whove smoked for 20 years , but they aint hooked ???whtever it is addictive its mind altering and is a stepping stone drug.these are all undisputable facts .i think dope is a time bomb and we will suffer the mental problems it causes in the coming decades.i may be wrong but the facts seem to suppourt what im saying.paranoia from dope ???you bet your ass there is .and i believe it contributes towards schizophrenia too.

No you would'nt as i'm not in control ie reactions etc etc


Its not acceptable full stop, its a drug just like alchohol is, your reaction times are slower on both counts.

I'm ruthless when it comes to what type of punishment for use and possession, 10 years in jail {minimum}. i heard an outcry from some that the prisons are overcrowded and its a recreational drug for god sake, this country is miles to soft in sentencing criminals including possession of drugs etc, come down ''REALLY HEAVY'' on REAL SENTENCES'' and you will have a decrease in over crowded prisons, as for dealers immaterial to what quantity they are carrying, the death penalty would be a nice start, hang one etc and your think twice about dealing again.

So in a nutshell, i don't find Marijuana acceptable
