Appropriate? probably not..but there are loads of inappropriate posts/replies on here and it's all a matter of opinion.
As for darling Joe ~ he knows that I am council house raised, and I am sure he doesn't hold it against me ~ or anyone else for that matter. It's how you live your life thereon that concerns him the most.

My point is that middle class children do not wish for a council house or drop babies willy nilly. Yes, there are numerous pregnancies amongst young middle class girls but nowhere near the extent there is amongst the masses.
And such girls are in my highly valued opinion, scum.

I have not stereotyped, I have shown facts. I am glad your daughters have made a good life for themselves. It is stories like this that strengthens my view that we do live in a meritocratic state. Everybody can make it. In the same way that some posh Rodean sorts I see whilst visiting Brighton look like cheap tu'penny ha'penny scrubbers.
So, I make no apology in the context I used.
However, if you feel still feel insensitised by it, then give yourself a pat on the back for breeding such wonderful children and fighting the prejudice that people like me no doubt have.

Miss Random, I do not know where you live I imagine that if you think all girls are like you describe you must live in a very deprived area.
I work with many young families and have teenage children of my own so I know what these kids are like, they are nothing like you describe in my area!! I do understand that some girls are a bit free with their favours and promiscuity can be a problem and children have been used to gain accommodation, however I feel that these girls are in the minority!! I know many young girls and many coming from council estate back grounds and this just is not the situation at all!!!! maybe I am fortunate that I don't live in an are where this is a problem!! I'm not saying that it doesn't happen, just that where I come from it is a rarity.
