It doesn't look nice. But I remember just after having my boys that I just didn't have the time or the energy to be bothered how I looked, I probably stayed in my PJ's for most of the day. I even went out in odd shoes once!!!
forgot to add, I always managed to keep my stretch marks under cover though!

Each to their own, I guess! to be honest I don't really have an opinion besides live & let live. I have far worse things to think about than other peoples stretchmarks. My own, for a start ;o)

And no, I don't flaunt them ~ I will leave that to others!

No ,I don't find women's bodies disgusting. Neither stretch marks nor body hair bother me. I just like women as they are, not Barbie dolls.

I certainly wouldnt want mine on display. The problem Ive found tho is that being long in the body and carrying around that extra bit of weight still that none of my tops cover me enough.

I dont intend to flaunt mine but they do get spotted occasionally

i remember my youngest last summer looking at a pregnant woman with stretch marks on show and saying why has her baby scratched her.

Its not at all nice, most woman do have them but i dont like looking at my own really dont want to see someone elses.

I really dont' mind it at all...I'm very much in agreement with Pippa on the "live and let lilve" philosophy here. After all, who's perfect? We all have a different opinion about what looks nice, or unpleasant. Some folk may not like how fat people look, or others may dislike looking at very skinny people, or short people, or people with red hair, etc etc. There's too much body facism about today, with the "perfect" women (or man) being constantly thrust in our faces by the media. I think the attitude that another human beings body is "disgusting" is a by-product of this media portrayal of how we "should" look.

Quite apart from that, I have a soft spot for maternity stretch marks. Most mums have them, and they are our permanent reminder of the amazing thing our bodies did. Not something to be ashamed of, but a mark of achievement. If we want to, we should show them with pride - tho this is by no means compulsory :o)

i dont think it looks nice at all, you should only show your mid riff off if its nicley toned, that was along time ago for me, and my stretch marks i for me and the ole man only.

I feel quite ashamed of my stretchmarks and are always trying to cover them for fear of what people will think..........So to hear that you all find them so vulga doesn't make me feel any more confident about myself, only worse.

I was hoping more of you would say they're not such a big deal.

Yeah it's nasty to look at.

What about these chavs that walk around with fat stomaches and tarty clothes... Ugh that's NASTY!
yeh its not pleasant. I am very lucky i have 2 kids and don't have any stretchmarks at all !
